Building Procedure
1. A 3/8’’ hole was drilled in the middle of both wooden wheels.
2. Template 1 (for improved wheel) was traced on the aluminum 10 times and cut out.
3. The aluminum pieces were bent into shape and screwed to a wooden wheel with 4 wood screws per piece.
4. Steps 2 and 3 were repeated with template 2 using 2 screws per aluminum piece.
5. A dowel was glued in the middle of each hole on the circles.
6. The lengths of clear vinyl tubing were divided in half.
7. The clear vinyl tubing with a width of 7/16” was fitted over one side of each dowel.
8. The smaller lengths of clear vinyl tubing were fitted inside, decreasing in width.
9. A circular hole was drilled near the bottom on the side of one bucket and the 1 5/8’’ hosepipe was hot glued in place.
10. A plug was fitted over the hosepipe.
11. In the same bucket, a line was drawn where it would be filled up to with water.
12. A dip in the lip of the second button was made and lined with the 3/8’’ hosepipe.
13. 2 holes were drilled using a 3/16’’ drill bit about 2/3 of the way down one half of the split PVC pipe, one on each side.
14. On each of the pieces of 30x10cm plywood, 2 holes were drilled using a 3/16’’ drill bit. Each hole allowed for the wheels to be 0.5cm above the bottom of the pipe.
15. A 3/8’’ hole was drilled approximately 18cm from the bottom of each piece of 30x10cm plywood.
16. These pieces of plywood were secured to the pipe with wing nuts.
17. A second set of 3/16’’ holes were drilled near the end of the pipe.
18. A 3/16’’ hole was drilled in each of the 4x6cm plywood pieces. These were attached to the pipe using wing nuts.
